Traditional Thai Massage (also known as Thai Yoga Massage)

To touch with the intention of imparting healing. This nurturing work combines pressure point techniques with a variety of stretching movements applied slowly in patterns of gentle rocking and rhythmic compressions. The client emerges relaxed, centered, grounded and re-energized. Benefits also include increased circulation, improved flexibility, relieved joint tension, and general well-being. This massage is enjoyed lying on a floor mat. Wear long pants and loose, comfortable clothing for this treatment. This massage is also available on a massage table.  A 90-minute to 120-minute session is recommended.


 
Thai Herbal Massage
Luk Pra Kope (To Massage with Medicinal Herbs and Heat).  Thai herbal massage is a truly unique experience. Heat and herbs are absorbed by the body to help reduce aches and pains, increase lymphatic drainage, and nourish the skin.  Excellent for stiff, sore or pulled muscles and ligaments, back pain, arthritis or chronic pain. 


Thai Foot Massage
Balance your body by focusing on your feet and lower legs to improve circulation, induce relaxation, and stimulate the body’s energy points. This spa experience includes a lemongrass foot soak, fresh lime exfoliation, and special Thai white mud mask (Din Saw Pong) for the legs known for its cooling and healing properties, as well as for softening the skin. Clients leave the session feeling relaxed, balanced and invigorated.

Personalized Yoga Instruction
Learn to utilize yoga postures (asanas) and breathing techniques to tone and strengthen your body, improve balance and flexibility, and enhance mind-body awareness. Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, private, personalized instruction can help you to cultivate a safe and effective yoga practice. Instruction can range from gentle Hatha to an Active Vinyasa practice depending on your desired outcome. The last 15 minutes is devoted to a brief relaxation period, breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation.
